This is the central principle of meditation: we become what we meditate on.
~ Eknath Easwaran (1910-1999)
I was first introduced to meditation in 1988 while visiting a spiritual community in rural Brazil. Since I began Passage Meditation eight years ago, I have settled into a daily meditation practice that has been deeply rewarding. In Passage Meditation we draw upon wisdom from all religions and each individual chooses passages that personally resonate within.
If you are interested in experiencing meditation, I encourage you to explore www.easwaran.org. I highly recommend the four session online introduction to Passage Meditation, which can be found at:

If Passage Meditation resonates with you, wonderful. If not, don’t be discouraged. Continue your search until you find a personal practice that speaks to you. Meditation is medicine for the mind, and so much more.
The practice of meditation has been described marvelously
as taking our evolution into our own hands.
